Adam Film World 1982: An Issue by Issue Guide

We look back at the west coast publication Adam Film World by re-publishing all the issues published from 1982.

Adam Film World was a gleefully and willfully subversive magazine – albeit one with a cheekily wholesome approach – and its 1982 issues were no exception. They contain straight-forward articles and photos of Hollywood hit films such as ‘Body Heat, Bo Derek in ‘Tarzan’, and ‘Personal Best,’ alongside equally serious features on the latest adult movies by Gerry Damiano or Cecil Howard.

These issues include a series of articles on mainstream stars including Morgan Fairchild, John Waters, Nastassja Kinski, and Sonia Braga; adult performers including Vanessa del Rio and John Holmes; and profiles of films including The Satisfiers of Alpha Blue, Aunt Peg’s Fulfillment, and Amanda By Night; and much more.
